Poem: Rise of the Demised

Crossing series of perplexity ravages my thoughts;
Betwixt the spines, a shivery jigsaw kaput noughts;
Outstretched warmth beleaguered upon faith;
Alternating hummed lies perfumed a bait;
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.

Cross-legged man I am, upon the earth;
Wallowing waywardness with wealth;
Health becomes a dead sheath;
Stealth caress carelessly my strength;
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.

Closure of every struggling breath;
Forcing illustrious souls beneath;
Mayhem beyond truces whistles;
Forces of artillery bemused;
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.

Creeping silently unto souls;
Blinding vision of ghouls;
Where is thy goal?
Once burn as coal?
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.

Course of the earth, because of the sea;
It stood tall therein o'er aqua plea;
We trudge harmoniously unkempt;
Losing hands upon last breath;
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.

Coming slowly, weary of the end;
My walking stick and I to bend;
Alas! Demise hoots out loud;
Laid to sleep endlessly yet...
I scampered away in oblivious worlds.
