In your loving memory (poem)


My lids shut, my lips agape
A slight peep at me,
You waved at me
Smiling till your back turns
Then dissolving into the thin air...

The earth felt your exit
My soul longs for you
Your room smells the same
Looking at your apparel
Am reminded how we held hands...

I know you feel the same
I wondered now and then
I sought your presence
I forced my mind through
I wandered in vain's den

In solace of time
In balance of hymes
In palace of rhymes
In remembrance, mine's
In your loving memory
